This is a statement I hear a lot. So what is the point of talking? Well often, we get very caught up in our patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving which makes breaking free from them quite difficult. What makes this even more challenging is if we are not aware of our thoughts and feelings and how they might be holding us back.
Psychotherapy and Counselling can be really useful in exploring how we think, feel and behave and gain a better understanding of ourselves. If we explore and understand ourselves, we can work towards change. After all, how can we change something, if we don't know what it is that may need to change?
